Sagar Group of Institutions understands the urgent need of helping nation to create a force of trained teachers and entrepreneurs who can improve the quality of education to make it effective, enjoyable and relevant to the masses. To contribute to this uphill task in its own humble way, Sagar Group of Institutions established Shri P. L. Memorial P. G. College, (SPLMPG) at Barabanki in 2004. Affiliated to Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya & Approved by N. C. T. E., Jaipur, the College has proven itself to be one of the premium institute to impart courses of education management and humanities in the region as compared to other affiliated colleges.
College started with B.Ed. Course (2004), B.B.A. (2008-09), M.Ed. (2009-10), B.T.C./D.El.Ed. (2015-16). It is situated at the 6th Milestone, from Barabanki on Ayodhya Road, along with Sagar Institute of Technology and Management (SITM) in a lush green campus.
The college has one of the best, qualified and experienced faculty. Course Intake along with all the indispensable infrastructure of a premium institution, like well-stocked and enriched central library, E.T. & ICT lab, language lab, computer labs, Psycho Lab and Art & Craft Centre. It has excellent sports facilities for outdoor & indoor games, separate hostel for boys & girls, medical facility and all other amenities like ATM, postage & courier, bus, cafeteria etc.
The institution provides opportunity for career advancement, promote research and publication, adopt innovative method in teaching and promote participatory approach in teaching-learning activities thus creating an overall academic environment where candidate can nurture themselves to become an avid learner and teacher. We have a methodology of giving Feedbacks to Student and Internal Evaluation to achieve 100% results.
Realizing our social responsibilities towords we conduct Community Works and S.U.P.W. (Socially Useful Productive Work) students do community works like plantation, literacy campaign, health, population "Vote for Nation", "Swach Bharat Mission" awareness campaign and many more. Students make different models and useful things through the rough and useless materials. College Organizes Seminars, Workshops, Conferences, Sports, Cultural and social events, Educational Tours and Community Work for the intellectual, physical, moral and social development of the students. The college publishes its own bilingual, half-yearly educational journal named National Journal of Education (ISSN No. 2229-3841 SPLMPGC-NJE).
